This is a tool called Wheel of Name that i used in in person as well as online courses. It’s very simple: you enter the first names of students in a group, you spin the wheel (Wheel of Fortune style), and the dial lands on one member of the group.
You can use this tool to assign roles in an AOD. For example, who in the team will review this week’s discussion? Or who will lead the discussion this week? Or who will form a group? Who is the group will play the role of a the business owner and who will play the role of the town citizen?
